Federal Credit Union gives donation

Yesterday, Philadelphia Federal Credit Union (PFCU) presented a $1,000 donation to Aid for Friends, a nonprofit that prepares free, daily, home-cooked meals to needy, isolated residents in the Philadelphia area. The check represents money raised through the sale of produce that was planted, sowed and harvested by employees in PFCU’s garden. PFCU’s Board of Directors matches the money raised by employees and donates all proceeds and leftover produce to Aid for Friends. The check was presented to Steven Schiavone, Executive Director of Aid For Friends (left), by Bernard Lester, PFCU Board Vice Chairman (right).
